I remember sitting on a bus driving through Manila.  I was sitting next to the window, but though I had never been to the city before I was exhausted from the trans-Pacific site.  My eyes were taking in the sites but my mind was in zoned-out, automatic mode so while I was looking I wasn’t really seeing.

As the bus travels through the street I can see brief glimpses of the world.  Pictures flashing before me; still life in real life; a moment gone in the time it took the bus to travel a few feet.

That’s what this blog is all about.  Those brief glimpses of life, inside, outside and online, that we may only look at but if we truly see can makes life deeper, happier, sadder, fuller and more meaningful.
